It’s decided; next year I’m skipping the Australian winter and heading back to the warm, sunny shores of Santorini.
I’m not quite sure how I’ll make it happen (hello, Universe!), but last week I bought myself one of those ‘Set for Life’ lotto tickets so fingers crossed.
(No seriously, please cross your fingers for me … I promise I’ll take you with me!)
I’m already planning to reclaim my quad bike and spend my days sun-kissed from swimming in the salty water.
I’ll eat calamari freshly caught from the sea just metres away from the taverna and at the end of the day, I’ll fall into bed with a smile on my face, and hopefully someone by my side (well, I figure if I’m asking the universe for things I may as well go big).
If my Instagram feed is anything to go on, I’m not the only one dreaming of the Greek Islands but if you haven’t been dreaming of this island paradise, here are some of my travel pics to get you through the day.
Inspired by my photos, and following a tip that blue is going to be one of the biggest colour trends this spring/summer, I’ve put together this shopping guide filled with the fresh and crisp colours of Santorini:
